“Riding a tide of youthful energy, 'The Great and The Good' is delivered with infectious enthusiasm and fizz. It even features a break for some hand-clap friendly drumbeats and a crowd-pleasing "whooooa-whoooooa" gang vocal that's guaranteed to give any live audience a vocal chord workout. 3/5”

Max Raptor on Room Thirteen

There is something slightly raw and full on Rock about this four-piece from Burton-On-Trent. Max Raptor have the blueprint of an Indie band that has then been told to ‘Man up' and injected with some Punk Rock. It's this rebel-rousing angst that is the backbone for the band's songs.
With the single, ‘The Great And The Good', we have a song that borders on being an anthem with it's catchy, up-tempo beat and sing-a-long vocals. "I pin this badge upon my chest!" screams out lead singer, Wil Ray, repeatedly before the guitars storm the song like soldiers, with riffs firing out like bullets, and drums pounding like bombs in the night. This is a great single that should be on the lips of everyone at the various festivals the band are playing this year, which includes Download.
