Fred Simon - Since Forever on O'splacejazz

Fred Simon - Since Forever

O's Notes: Pianist Fred Simon assembles a quartet with Paul McCandless (sax, oboe, cl), Steve Rodby (b) and Mark Walker (d). They perform a dozen peaceful compositions, all Simon originals along with a cover of Zawinul's "In A Silent Way". The music is in harmony with nature and the musicians have a peaceful harmony among them. This is especially true with the interplay between Simon and McCandless. Since Forever is conducive to relaxation and a sense of peace. It can help you wind down or serve as an unobtrusive backdrop.
