“Riding a tide of youthful energy, 'The Great and The Good' is delivered with infectious enthusiasm and fizz. It even features a break for some hand-clap friendly drumbeats and a crowd-pleasing "whooooa-whoooooa" gang vocal that's guaranteed to give any live audience a vocal chord workout. 3/5”

Max Raptor on Tasty Fanzine

‘I Pin this badge upon my chest' yells out the repeated opening lines of this track and so, we are unsubtly introduced to Max Raptor. There's almost a hardcore vibe about the vocals at times, you could imagine Fugazi waxing lyrical about badges and chests. Yet Max Raptor go and mess it all up/perfect it with a singalong ‘whoa oh oh oh' style chorus. The track proper belts along and I'm left feeling like Dexy and his midnight Runners have just driven a tank over me.
