AM 5-Star Review Sunday Express

Martin Townsend
5 Stars

Tulsa-born, New Orleans-raised but determined, it seems to hide behind his initials, AM has made one of the great pop albums of the year. Crammed with clever hooks, gorgeous melodies and an atmosphere of chiming Sixties melodrama it recalls spaghetti westerns and Brian Wilson in just about equal measure. It's almost fruitless to pick out individual tracks but It's Been So Long, Darker Days and Leavenworth will all melt your soul. An album to fall in love with.
