The visceral anthemia of Midlands punk-rockers Max Raptor will open for The Darkness, who play to a small but eager audience this June, as they limber up for their rock n' roll comeback with appearances at Sonisphere in Madrid and the legendary Download at Donnington (but to name a few colossal rock festivals!).
THE DARKNESS (with Max Raptor)
5/6 Waterfront NORWICH
6/6 The Assembly LEAMINGTON SPA
8/6 O2 Shepherds Bush Empire LONDON
Max Raptor, having just returned home from their Portraits UK tour celebrating the release of their acclaimed mini-album of the same name (out now on Naim Edge), are delighted with the last minute invitation to warm up for the Lowestoft stadium rockers. Frontman Wil Ray commented "I first saw The Darkness as a teenager in Stoke-On-Trent before it all kicked off for them, I'm a big fan and it'll be an absolute honour to share the stage at such intimate venues!". He concluded "We share a common goal, to remind people that great British rock n' roll LIVES!"
