I Don't Feel It Anymore is the first single to be lifted from Fitzsimmons' critically-acclaimed third album
The Sparrow And The Crow, released in the UK in November.
Even without listening to a note of his music, the Illinois-based artist's character and remarkable back story are impossible to ignore.
How many other musicians can you name who are former mental health therapists, and whose blind parents' divorce was so traumatic he wrote an entire album about it (2006's Goodnight), only for the harrowing recording process to precipitate the break-up of his own marriage, which he duly documented on follow-up The Sparrow And The Crow? Presumably not that many.
The Sparrow And The Crow, from which new single I Don't Feel It Anymore is taken, received critical commendation for its bare, brave and very ‘American' emotive themes upon its UK release.
And the unique Kanye West Cover was added to the double A-side single release after taking US blog culture by storm towards the end of last year.
I Don't Feel It Anymore and Heartless are out now on digital download and 7" single on Naim Edge.
Buy or download it HERE or from iTunes UK.
