NEW single ‘Freud Links The Teeth And The Heart' released April 30th
TELLISON can
now announce their summer 2012 UK headline tour, the final run of shows of the
Wages Of Fear album, with dates running from May 3rd to May 9th.
The London show, in association with DIY, on the 9th of May
will be held at The Relentless Garage with a full bill of brilliant bands
including friends Stagecoach and very exciting special guests
(as main support) that will be announced at the start of March.
TELLISON will also release a new single, ‘Freud Links The Teeth
And The Heart, the final release from current critically lauded album ‘The
Wages Of Fear', which was both a Kerrang! and Rock Sound Magazine album of the
year in 2011. The single will be back by 2 brand new, unreleased tracks as
B-sides, that provide insight into the writing process that TELLISON have embarked on as they are
set to return to the studio to work on album number three amidst a busy summer
of festivals.
As front-man Stephen (Davidson) explains; "We're
excited to announce we'll be off on a small, roughly anti-clockwise tour of the
UK this May in support of "Freud Links The Teeth And The Heart" the
latest single from our second album "The Wages Of Fear". We'll be
joined on the road by The Bots, an excellent and eye-wateringly youthful
two-piece from across the Atlantic. You should come. It'll be great."
TELLISON are
also bringing over one of the most talked about new bands, the amazing The
Bots from LA. The Bots are a young (15 and 18) brotherly duo who play
a mix of spaced out Americana and scuzzy, US punk, influenced by the likes
of The Circle Jerks, Black flag, Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs, Bad Brains and The
Talking Heads. With press, industry interest and radio support reaching
increasingly high levels (Radio 1 support at Fearne Cotton, Dan Carter, Mike
Davies and Zane Lowe, XFM and Kerrang Radio as well as pieces in Wonderland,
Kerrang, Juke, The Fly, Narc, Rock Sound, Big Cheese, Total Guitar, Front
magazine and more), these will be the first chance to catch them on UK shores.
NOT to be missed, The Bots will be
main support on all dates
