Our very own Neil Cowley Trio, who released their fourth album The Face Of Mount Molehill this year to international acclaim, have been shortlisted for the inaugural Genre Spotlight Award at the AIM Independent Music Awards to be held in London on 29th October 2012.
The Genre Spotlight Award is a new category for the AIM Awards, celebrating success in one of the many genres of contemporary music. NCT are joined on the shortlist by grime pioneer Wiley, drum-n-bass newcomer Netsky and avant-garde electronica ace Lorn. This is only the second annual AIM Awards after the hugely successful 2011 ceremony, at which Naim Edge Records was shortlisted in the Best Small Label category.
