Biography

Max Raptor sound like...the visceral claws of Great British rock n' roll frantically disembowelling American alt-rock with a partisan punk attitude. There is nothing remotely Jurassic about this Midland conceived 4 piece whose forthright narrative and devastating live set is spearheading a hungry horde of New Wave British Alt-Rock bands.

Max Raptor have emerged as one of the most unique rock bands in the UK and have rapidly evolved into a vital, incendiary band who have been tearing up stages across their homeland, gaining the admiration of hoards of new fans with their socially aware and visceral sound that, unlike most alternative British rock music of the moment, is unashamedly British and deals with the complex issues of present day society. The Burton-U Trent four piece were discovered by their Canadian heroes Billy Talent through myspace, invited to hit the road on a UK tour, and have not looked back since. Having since toured relentlessly with the likes of The Stranglers, The Darkness, Dinosaur Pile Up and New Model Army and smashing festival performances from Donnington's Download Festival to the famous Reading & Leeds Festival, Max Raptor have proven they are a live force to be reckoned with.
