Son of Benny Green, sax prodigy Leo spent years of hard grafting as a session player before calling in enough favours to combine with some of the biggest names in the business for his debut solo album.
Leo Green, as a sax player, producer, arranger and musical director, has had an extraordinary career by anyone's standards. He has played "Great Balls Of Fire" with Jerry Lee Lewis, "Brown Eyed Girl" with Van Morrison, "It's Not Unusual" with Tom Jones, "All Around The World" with Lisa Stansfield, "Love Is All Around" with Marti Pellow, "Let's Stick Together" with Bryan Ferry, "Walk On By" with Dionne Warwick, "Broken Stones" with Paul Weller, "Shout!" with Lulu and "I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself" with Burt Bacharach.
Leo's career started when he so impressed rock ‘n' roll legend Jerry Lee Lewis that he was asked to join the band. Jerry described Leo as "the greatest sax player I have ever worked with".
