BOY COM bring the big band experience to new patrons of the old-school sound. Describing themselves as "kick ass party hip hop", the 9-piece (whose name is short for ‘Boy Communication') make the perfect soundtrack to any debaucherous house-party.
Boasting the phattest beats, the smoothest bass lines, the raunchiest brass and the silkiest choruses, BOY COM are the stylish live eargasm that the alternative UK Hip-Hop scene has been waiting for. BOY COM is the wildchild of half American, half Belgian, dejay, producer and emcee Noah Sacré, whose distinctive half-sung drawl decorates an architecture of 60s soul, 70s funk and 80s hip hop with mischievous 90s fraternity-raps.
BOY COM's story began on a High School playground in the south of France, when a love of all things melodious brought harmony between Noah and fellow international students Ali Hill (vocals) and ‘Worldwide' Webster (guitar). As a gifted turntablist and multi-instrumentalist, a vibrant French Hip-Hop scene proved the perfect training ground for Noah and friends. Upon reaching UK shores, Noah recruited BOY COM band members Sam (bass), Dom (drums), Joe (keys), John (sax), Ben (trombone) and Moth (trumpet), set up camp in Brighton, and hit the road.
BOY COM, who refresh live Hip Hop with big smiles and beating hearts, are without doubt an experience to behold this (and any given) summer.
